pet peeve: cross medium metaphors. Nobody wants to say their painting has a style, they instead say it has a "language". Nobody describes their book as having a language, it has a style. The movements of a dancer are called poetry in motion. The words of a poet dance on a page. Tautology.

when i was a teenager, i saw a photo of like a 40 year old goth guy, driving a zamboni, those machines they have at ice rinks. And he looked very uncool, and i realized, i can't be goth forever. Looking at the Drake photos, i was right. No shame to zamboni guy though, he looked better than drake.
