Suspenseful And Empowering!

This book was phenomenal! There were so many empowering moments and contemplated versations that every woman (or person of color) can understand. How it feels to be a woman with everything we have to go through. With these sisters having been silenced, Gretchen insists on finding out the truth and giving them a voice. She gets invested into it, angry how the world and the town failed them. Gretchen is the feminist we should all strive to be, ready to risk everything to tell thr story that the world had forgotten. With her worrying mom and teasing friend, Gretchen won't back down until everyone knows the truth, no matter the cost. I love this book so much. It was so suspenseful at times with creepy settings and ghostly encounters. Highly recommend a thousand times over!
