Graph has lines for 2018-2026. The line for 2026 is the lowest since 2020, but for the last two days it suddenly shoots up by 15,000 in one day and is higher than every other year.

In other news, I have been mega-Blazed on Tumblr (someone gave the survey post a 2,000 impressions in 24h Blaze and Tumblr decided to bump it up to 100,000 in 24h for free) and now I'm scared to check my Tumblr activity page and I got 8 anon asks overnight 🙈 It's VERY GOOD for the survey but a lot!

Hi folks! 13 days left and we're well on the way to 27,000 participants, about 300 to go. I have nerdily added some notes to some graphs so that I can see what affects the numbers. If your gender is a rare and valuable Limited Edition, please click here to do the survey: survey.gendercensus.com

Line graph of survey response rate. Starts high, with a peak of nearly 600 in an hour on 14th July, and then drops to about 100 per hour for about a week, and then to maybe 30-50 per hour 20th July until today.

Line graph of day-by-day comparison of participation from 2024 to 2026. All three lines climb steeply in the first 3 days and then slow down a bit until day 7 or 8, then slow down more but continue to gradually climb until the end of the month. 2024 is highest and ends at about 48,000. 2025 is next highest and ends at about 43,000. 2026 is incomplete, ends at day 19, and is much lower - it's currently at about 27,000 and looks like it's heading for about 30,000 at the end of the month.
