More rules for civilized behavior: Learn how to pronounce a person’s name. Don’t comment on how “weird” it is. If you don’t like the “habla espanol” option when calling somewhere, just continue in English. Learn to eat with chopsticks. Over a billion people do it every day. It is easy.

Because it can’t be said often enough: Leave trans people alone. Don’t touch black people’s hair. (Exception: if you are a barber or a hairdresser) Leave women wearing hijabs alone. Don’t make a face if you see some foreign food that looks weird. Don’t use memes as news sources. (More TK)
