Had a walk yesterday around the Simpson Ground area on the southern edge of the Lakes. It was a lovely peaceful wander in warm sunshine for a good part of it! We came across some amazing old gnarly trees at various points in the walk. Not ideal conditions for woodland shots but some to go back to!

Buttermere is an absolutely beautiful lake and on this day one autumn was looking amazing in the light.
