7. I do miss the design of the original Control. There’s a lot of crazy imagery but it’s mostly similar across the same vein. Though thematically the designs are very justified. 8. I ended up loving the level design. Everything is incredibly well thought out. 9. Can’t wait to keep playing.

4. I really appreciate how instead of having a single musical moment, it made music incorporated into the moments more consistently. 5. Towards the end it uses a trope I hate and that portion lasts like 30 mins. 6. Story is more emotional, less cerebral than other remedy stuff.

Rolled credits on Control Resonant. Giving it a 4.5/5: 1. I found it incredibly well balanced. Maybe I got lucky. Easily the most fun I’ve ever had PLAYING a Remedy game. 2. Basically every side thing and main mission was very memorable. 3. Story was very good but vibes not as thick as Alan wake 2

While I've loved Remedy's Ashtray Maze/We Sing type stuff, it could have gotten old quick. Without spoiling too much, Resonant finds ways to incorporate music without it being the whole point and do it more often and every moment so far ROCKS/HITS HARD/SLAPS.

Control Resonant is already the most emotionally poignant Remedy game by a mile. I've heard that the best moments are concentrated in the back third. But so far I've already had 3 or 4 moments that hit me like a truck and I'm going to guess I'm about halfway done.
