i genuinely think that one of the best things about being human is having the ability to develop opinions and then update them based on new information, and like if you’re not taking advantage of this ability, i think you’re genuinely missing out on a huge part of personhood!

A friend of mine has a key to check in on them and I've got cameras, automatic feeders.. there were no worries to have.. But also a 13+ hour drive each way is a lot. And I'd be gone again on the weekend so it would have been basically 7 days out of the house and that kinda stressed me out + stuff..

Ehm... I am supposed to be on the way to see my "roommates" family (aka in laws).. I made it as far as the gas station then my anxiety took over and I'm home cuddling with the cats. Apparently I can't leave them alone for 4 days..

Neighbors put up their Halloween decorations. More lights shining in my bedroom and there is this thing that activates when something moves in front of it that talks and laughs... which goes off every few minutes.. They were sick of it themselves after two days last year, they probably forgot that.
