Nice to have some good news, esp financially, and Pet Plan are paying out my claim. Phew. If anyone wants to have a US insurance health scheme over the NHS, vet bills are always a good demonstration of how expensive it can be, even over small procedures & medication. No thanks.

I’ve got a new Jesus loving happy clappy couple who have moved in nextdoor & they’ve already pissed me off. For the past 2 weeks they’ve had noisy gatherings playing bollocks music late into the night. I’ve just snapped & blared Faithless’ Insomnia through the wall. They’ve now shut the fuck up.

25% was the turnout vote for Manchester mayoral election. That is really low but understandable. An election nobody wanted, a lot of people gone away for the start of the school holidays and I think voting apathy played a role.

Today, I had a good reminder that I’m in a much better workplace after having to deal with an unpleasant Headteacher about a project. I’m so glad I’m not part of education/children’s services anymore & don’t have to deal with crappy Headteachers on a daily basis.

Well demonstrate this & please tell MCC planning committee to not allow the planning application for Ryebank Fields to happen. It is classed as greenfield and it’s under serious threat and due to the underlying toxic waste, it’s a threat to public health. It needs to be left as green space.

The cat is still wired after yesterday’s stressful day. But she’s letting me stroke her this morning, she’s got a good purr on the go and is eating. Hopefully she’ll realise her lower back is better now the matting is gone.

I’ve got a horrible feeling all the work I’ve put in will be undone by today’s trip to the vets. When I adopted her, she wouldn’t move from a spot in the house for a month. It then took 6 months before she would let me stroke her.
