healing is painful. sometimes exponentially more than just carrying on. but god damn it i want to end this shitheap of a year on a net positive, so im doing the hard things. one hard thing rn is having my left arm end in a painful lump, while righty is barely up to the job on his own.

my hand 1 day after carpal tunnel surgery, wrapped in ace bandage. u can also see im watching videogames and spoil my cats.

my thrift store desk has a puzzle shelf and I just christened it with its first completed puzzle. 🙌

Round and fully completed 500 piece jigsaw puzzle assembled on my desk's unusually full size keyboard tray. Puzzle depicts Russian fairytale poem titled Ruslan and Ludmilla.

since i already paid for an MRI out of pocket, i am going all in on medical care the rest of the year. Getting some guys to look at my spine arthritis (😭). My feet are doing some shit now too and my knee never recovered fully from the fall a few months ago; so podiatrist referral at the very least.

Good news on the spine front! Finally saw a spine doctor who did their job. She was fully unimpressed with my spine node and degradation. So my hands getting useless is just like regular old carpal tunnel! Couple surgeries and i get my hand function back?

pup is having trouble with the apartment life. Too many sounds he can never settle down. ☹️ Poor guy is so off kilter he's started charging at people and dogs when he's on leash. He even pulled me over when I was distracted getting milk out of the car.

besides my anxiety disorder and ptsd being at an 11 - our new place is really wonderful. The AC works so well in to cool the whole space. way better than even the freshly installed one did in the hottest room on god's earth we used to inhabit.

The minute I connected my wifi hub with xfinity my cell service started cutting out and only being available upon restart…at a client’s house, in msp where idk the wifi, client has aphasia and can’t tell me. I couldn’t update my work app, call for help, or use gps to get back home.
