healing is painful. sometimes exponentially more than just carrying on. but god damn it i want to end this shitheap of a year on a net positive, so im doing the hard things. one hard thing rn is having my left arm end in a painful lump, while righty is barely up to the job on his own.

my hand 1 day after carpal tunnel surgery, wrapped in ace bandage. u can also see im watching videogames and spoil my cats.

my thrift store desk has a puzzle shelf and I just christened it with its first completed puzzle. 🙌

Round and fully completed 500 piece jigsaw puzzle assembled on my desk's unusually full size keyboard tray. Puzzle depicts Russian fairytale poem titled Ruslan and Ludmilla.

stuff is starting to normalize for me a little bit, finally. not my daily schedule or my relationships, but i have books on shelves and i got a desk. more importantly tho, i got a basket.
