ARC says they’ll announce Centres of Excellence outcomes tomorrow (Tuesday 9th Dec). This is more than 2 months late, most likely due to the new security checking requirements for ARC grants. Centres of Excellence grants also need to have been approved by the Minister.

ARC says Discovery Projects outcomes will be tomorrow (Tuesday). Linkage Projects (2025, round 1) on Wed. Over past ~year, it's often been at about 11am (Canberra). My bot will pick up the change to RMS & post immediately. ARC should email outcomes to lead CIs, but might take an 1hr or so for DPs

New discovery: A #Roman wooden water pipe has been found during works on Brussels Street in Leuven. At a depth of about 4 meters, archaeologists found the wooden water pipe running the entire length of the construction pit, totaling 20 to 30 meters.  www.brusselstimes.com/1568387/arch... 🏺

I haven’t posted on my family in Gaza in a while - because what is there to say? During the ceasefire, food supply had become easier and my nieces and nephews had returned to school a few hours per week. Now the war is back without any end in sight.
