What does it say about a person who seemingly disregards the gang rape of a woman by 7 men because he doesn't like the prosecutor? If you're not condemning it, you're condoning it. Trump is an adjudicated rapist who is protecting pedophiles. 31 days. Say, no more.

I don't know how to get over the fact that companies immediately were like "eh, fuck our customers" as soon as US food safety standards were legally loosened. The infrastructure was already there. There had to be a conscious decision and action to fuck things up as badly as they did.

My favorite part of this very stupid rant is that it seems he thinks people have to climb clock towers and twirl the hands like you would an old wall clock or something. Even without the dementia and whatever else is scrambling his brains - he is a PROFOUNDLY stupid man.

Nearly 900 healthcare workers at UPMC Magee have spent 8 months negotiating their first union contract. Safe staffing means safer care. These frontline workers deserve a seat at the table and a fair contract. @deluzio.house.gov , @khanna.house.gov & I are calling on UPMC to bargain in good faith.

More of the same and only getting to vote every 2 years allows the wound to fester and the propaganda and democracy theatre to drone on and on. There's no vision, and we don't have anyone truly aimed at bringing power back to the people. The ruling class just continues taking, while workers suffer

We should be having a shadow constitutional convention. Other countries younger than ours have revamped/replaced whole constitutions when things didn't work right. I want to see a better designed government with the experience of 250 yrs of hindsight and a modern understanding of people and tech.

Instead, we have Jeffries who meets with Kushner, and democrats advocating for more police when crime continues to fall year on year. They're building the same fascist state, just a more inclusive kind (sarcasm). What I want to see is a better way forward. Obama was a war criminal as much as Bush.

By accepting corporate money, the capitalists have ensured nothing will change. If the democrats were truly a vehicle for something better we would be seeing more organized protests with clear demands and political disobedience. Strikes, occupying government buildings, union building...

No it isn't. It is because we are victims of state capture. Corporations and capitalists have made it so that each party is owned by the same people. Democrats are complicit at this point. The way they hamstrung Bernie in 2016 for instance.

I'm sorry, what? Shakespeare didn't write the play in Olde English. And Shakespeare didn't set the play in a time or place where the characters would've spoken Olde English. Eggers is free to make his choice, but how does this show "meticulous attention to detail"? It shows the opposite?
As befitting a filmmaker who is known for his meticulous attention to detail in capturing a time period, even when it comes to dialogue, sources say that this adaptation will feature actors speaking in Olde English.

A tragic romance, Shakespeare’s play told the ill-fated story of the titular young lovers who hail from two warring families, the Capulets and the Montagues, in the city of Verona, Italy.

"This election is about the threat of trans kids" is the worst possible messaging for Dems yet so many candidates are leaning into it. No voter will flip R->D over it. Low-info voters read this as "you're focused on bullshit that doesn't affect me" while the base reads this as "you're an asshole."

The president said it plainly in the Oval Office,
describing his own planned action as a "ban on the
free press."

The Constitution protects the freedom of the press
from government interference. That protection
does not depend on whether the president likes a
news organization's coverage, agrees with its
reporting, or approves of the questions its
journalists ask.

This is about more than the rights of journalists. It
is about the right of the American people to receive
