I watched it without any expectations whatsoever and was very pleasantly surprised. I just wished it had some real sheep instead of all CGI because CGI sheep look a bit fake, but not a big deal.

Then during the third reconciliation of the last of the Meketrex supplicants, they chose a new form for him, that of a giant Sloar! Many Shubs and Zuuls knew what it was to be roasted in the depths of a Sloar that day, I can tell you.

After about 30 seconds the smoke was so thick it was just color-flashing smoke for the next 40 minutes. Today DC is under a "stay inside" order because the air is still so thick with toxic smoke.

President Trump unveiled a refurbished jet given to him by Qatar to use as Air Force One, in violation of the foreign emoluments clause of the U.S. Constitution. Editors at @apnews.com, numbed by a decade of emolumental corruption, failed to identify it as public corruption to Americans & the world.

Here's your explanation: neither Trump nor Musk are experts. Both are liars and braggarts. Musk tried to buy the election; he didn't do any hacking. Trump's own lawyers testified under oath that the election results were valid. Musk might have lied to Trump to gain favor and the DOGE appointment.

NEW: Data released by ICE shows that virtually the entire growth of detention in the last few months has been among people with no criminal record at all - no prior convictions (no matter how minor) and no pending criminal charges.
Chart showing "Detention Population, Among Those Arrested in the interior, by Criminal Record, May 2019 through January 27, 2026. There are three lines on the graph: prior conviction, pending criminal charges, and no criminal record. from 2019 through January 2025, "prior conviction" is by far the highest, followed by pending charges much lower down and "no criminal record" the lowest. During the Biden admin, very few people arrested by ICE in the interior and detained had no criminal record. Beginning in January 2025, all three lines jump, but the highest spike is among those with no criminal records. By September, that has become the single largest. Since that point, there are now thousands more people in detention with no criminal record than people with prior convictions.
