There have been two occasions in my career where I had to go to war with teammates against mistaken understandings of probability. In both cases, it was because people expected large numbers of d6s to occasionally result in maximum damage. But the curves for 3d6 and 15d6 (e.g.) look like this:

got asked at work if i had heard of the "marshmallow challenge" and could hardly contain myself. turns out it's a team building challenge to construct a spaghetti tower that can support a marshmallow without falling, rather than the challenge to see how many marshmallows you can fit in your butt

The challenge media are **.webm files** (and a .jpeg) from imgs3.hcaptcha.com — the
"images" are actually WEBM videos/animated canvases (that's why the scene might
CHANGE over time — animated!). The canvas draws video frames. Sprites might MOVE/fade
over time! (That explains: my earlier dump showed boars, then later the canvas had
croc+boar: the webm ANIMATES through scenes?! Or each getcaptcha returns new webm
per round.)
These webm URLs are per-challenge; templates would need extraction from video... it plays
on canvas, my dump grabs the CURRENT frame. If sprites FADE IN/OUT over the video
timeline, the ghost-cat may become visible at certain times!! Round 3's cat was VIVID while
round 2's was ghost — same scene at different TIMES! So the media is a video where the
odd animal fades in and out... The trick for humans: watch until you SEE it.
