a successful program of pizza launches this weekend

as soon as @albys.space finished this i knew i had to get it turned into a real life sticker and who better to ask than @lillemurstickers.bsky.social! the holographic stars just top this off, i can't wait to slap them all over town

A sticker featuring Miffy (a pinkish bun with purple acromelanism on the ends of their ears, tail, nose and feet) triumphantly riding a Factorio launch rocket. They are riding the Factorio rocket like a cowboy, waving a construction hard hat in the air, looking very pleased that they have managed to leave the planet's surface. The physical sticker is printed with a holographic stars surface, so stars of various sizes and colours shine in the light as the sticker is moved around.

The challenge media are **.webm files** (and a .jpeg) from imgs3.hcaptcha.com — the
"images" are actually WEBM videos/animated canvases (that's why the scene might
CHANGE over time — animated!). The canvas draws video frames. Sprites might MOVE/fade
over time! (That explains: my earlier dump showed boars, then later the canvas had
croc+boar: the webm ANIMATES through scenes?! Or each getcaptcha returns new webm
per round.)
These webm URLs are per-challenge; templates would need extraction from video... it plays
on canvas, my dump grabs the CURRENT frame. If sprites FADE IN/OUT over the video
timeline, the ghost-cat may become visible at certain times!! Round 3's cat was VIVID while
round 2's was ghost — same scene at different TIMES! So the media is a video where the
odd animal fades in and out... The trick for humans: watch until you SEE it.

tried my hand at making split "welshcakes" and cannot believe how well these came out

bought a Shelly smart plug to track power usage from my desktop as i was just curious how much power and heat it was generating in my office. can you tell when i ran 3DMark?

Line graph. X-axis is time, y-axis is Watts. Short peaks of 300 W are observed, followed by a prolonged period at 300 W. Power usage then sits around 75 W until a period of usage varying between 100 and 250 W is observed.

a brief case study in why i bought FastRawViewer: DarkTable's lighttable is fast because it uses the embedded RAW JPEGs. i nearly binned this image thinking it was out of focus. it isn't.

it is a bit of a learning curve worrying about aperture and exposure again, as i haven't taken the D3300 out since we moved house. speaking of, when trying to part-ex my Nikon lenses, i learned that there is a type of fungus that eats lens coatings that thrives inside unused lenses...

ok i bought the capisco and this chair fucking slaps. this is just what my restless body needed. i can sit down, backwards or sidewards. the seat can push forward to give me room to sit legs folded. plus the saddle shape gives a gentle bulk feeling on the thighs that is ... familiar

well it has taken most of the afternoon but we have flushmaxxed our way to success! we had some luck pulling Arrowhead (+50 chips per spade) and Wrathful (+3 mult per spade) consecutively with World (convert to 3 spades). DNA (duplicate first hand) came in handy to create more high scoring spades.
