If I had grandchildren, instead of Harry Potter, I'd but them all 7 books of À la recherche du temps perdu. Also, we'd make homemade candy, like humbugs or taffy, and I would take them to see baby goats. Oh, and teach them to whittle and make a whistle from a blade of grass. Maybe needlepoint too.
