Sensors on a twin buoy out in the Atlantic Ocean send live satellite data to motors inside the museum. This makes the indoor buoy copy the exact, real-time movements of the ocean waves.

I spent so long fighting muscle memory in FF15 because I felt like Square was the more natural-seeming Attack button but it was on Circle, and then FF16 flips them back around and I'm having to un-learn the muscle memory I built in FF15.

Loose FF16 thoughts now that I'm about 10-12 hours in: why do you have a jump button if your jump is so comically small. I know it's for combat so you can enemy step after doing it, it still feels very silly especially when I use it while traversing like I can get over anything with it.

Finished Lorelei and the Laser Eyes, really fun puzzle game. I ALMOST cracked and looked up a hint on like 3 different puzzles, but in each case I gave myself some extra time to think on it, came back fresh (sometimes multiple times lol) and managed to solve them. And that's a great feeling.

On top of FF15/16, I got a random grab-bag of new games from the Summer Sale and have been digging into them a bit over the past few days and having a blast. First up is Lorelei and the Laser Eyes, which is a really nice puzzle game about exploring a hotel while a very peculiar kind of art happens.

Got FF15/16 on the cheap in the steam sale, so my tour through the franchise will be continuing Soon (tm). Fortunately the games take forever to make now so even after dawdling after finishing Heavensward I'm not really losing ground.

Finished Okami tonight, it was a really good time. Especially enjoyed the creativity of the last boss fight, even if it might have been a little bit long overall. Fun to see its big soup of Japanese myths; it made for some really fun character/enemy designs. And man is the game still gorgeous.

Been playing through Okami recently after finding it gathering dust in my steam library, and it's been a lot of fun. It's interesting to see a game with a lot of clear Zelda DNA but being executed by a team bringing a lot of their own sauce to the process.

I didn't realize your color customizations in Demon Turf showed up on the main menu/loading screens, that's neat. And they trick out your powers, like your double-jump form. Fun little touch.

I'm finally up-to-date with One Piece after starting back in September. It's been fun to get across and see how the story has changed shapes over the course of its run. I'm a little less fond of some of the post-timeskip stuff but there's still a lot to like in there.
