💯 support the parents here. It’s been longer than a decade. I was the first parent council chair in 2007 when my oldest son was in P1 (he’s 24 now) and the campaign was already 2 years old at that stage. The speed at which some vehicles pass the school is appalling. Safety measures long overdue

🤔 We asked CEC, they said: Due to the number of hangars and spaces across the city, it is not possible for either Grease Monkey or the Council to monitor usage. If the subscription for a space is being paid for then is it considered occupied, and there is no requirement for it to be regularly used.

Secure on-street cycle storage is vital for tenement-dwellers. Some of our residents have been on waiting lists for over 6 years. Provision in our area is very limited. We welcome the 20 new cycle hangars which will be installed in the next 2 years, but they will simply not be enough to meet demand.

1/ 🏨 Too many aparthotels?Too much student accommodation? Worried about the loss of homes to short-term lets? Here’s the important bit: by the time a planning application arrives, the rules it will be judged against will already have been written. That’s why CITY PLAN 2040 matters.
