Direct but 'not quite right' Fountainbridge infrastrucure. Observed while moving tyres to garage. • Avoid steps - cycle on grass • Use 'not quite joined' Grove St. one way cycle crossing - cycle on pavement • Be aware that traffic can turn right as you go straight ahead. @spokes.org.uk @edi.bike

The gradient is so low, you have to assume they put in the stairs to try and discourage cycling, but it’s already a top route to the offices avoiding the mess of cobbles at the end of the towpath. Plus a much better / pedestrian friendly alignment to grove St if they’d kept it stepfree
