I had enjoyable ten-minute chats there with Bob Burden, who only seems normal and well-balanced at first, and Kate Worley, with whom I talked about the recent letters in FA concerning the sex in Omaha (which she writes). She reckons there are two basic types who complain about this; one says "Sex is beautiful; don't show it!" while the other says "Sex is dirty; save it for the one you love!" At a later time (the party on the Sunday night - see later) she was saying that all through the week, as well as at previous cons, various Marvel and DC editors told her how much they enjoyed Omaha, but none of them would give her any well-paid work.
