If you don’t know what he did, he make the decision, on September 12, 2001, to walk into MTV, dressed as Osama Bin Laden, and tried to present a show in that garb. And no one said “maybe we shouldn’t let this fucker in front of a camera”. I am delighted we did a hatchet job on him in the magazine.

Imagine spending $25M to lose a race in Wisconsin. That money could have paved some roads, paid off student lunch debt (because that's a real fucking thing in the USA), paid to upgrade some schools, maintained some city parks, or brought broadband to rural areas. It could have done some good.

Proper coach, Eddie Howe: improved a team of Dan Burn, Nick Pope, Jacob Murphy, Joelinton, Scharr, Longstaff, etc while getting the best of the bigger name signings. And as with good managers, the transformation was obvious in his second season.
