I was about to go on the first NI holiday for some years with my two, and spent the first 3 days absolutely unable to function and then my youngest spent NY vomiting. We sent my oldest home early so we wouldn’t be stranded if he subsequently got sick. Ruined the holiday.

This was a year and a half after she brought the same kid to Xmas then merrily told everyone after theyd hugged and kissed everyone that the the kid had been vomiting that morning (didn’t leave the kid at home with their Dad)

See, she brought her 6 yo with her as well (who wasn’t tested and didn’t wear PPE) She told my folks that the whole family (3 kids) had gone to the airport with the dad in case they could get on the flight as well.

She lied when she arrived then confessed after the family were together for the funeral which is how my sister ended up unable to work - in healthcare, in daily contact with vulnerable people. And she has the cheek to sit in front of the inquiry and describe the government response as ‘inhumane’

Her entitlement just beggars belief, that she thinks she had more right than anyone else in her situation to break the quarantine. My sis got suspended from her job for several weeks because she’d been in contact with my relative & her child (who also travelled despite their father remaining home)

It was my relative that kicked off the 3pm. Couldn’t bring myself to listen later on because she was so full of shit. Claiming she had permission to travel out of Auckland to the commission when she never even applied, just decided to take a letter from the Dr and hope she wasn’t challenged.
