I'm always astounded how one small cat can take up the space of an entire double bed. She is a known bed/chair thief, she even takes Oberons spots sometimes.

The act of feeling re-embarrassed from a memory is so fascinating to me. Because the severity of the fuck up doesn't factor in as strongly as it feels it should. There are levels, sure, of how bad the memory feels. They all feel like stabs in the heart when some are clearly 100x worse than others.

the autistic joy of finding an exact replica of a toy you had, over loved and broke a decade and a half ago.

a 16cm weighted sand platypus toy that sits at my desk at work. It has beady black eyes, a smoth felt bill and is coloured in primarily purple with hints of blue, green and red.

it watches over me and gives me comfort.
