My grandpa, who is currently homeless in the state of Maine and hospitalized with heart failure in Portland, has been denied #MaineCare and awarded like $20 in SNAP. We found him an apartment after which he’ll have maybe $100-200 to live off of per month. What an incredible country to age in.

I came to Minneapolis to report on what's going on, and one of the main questions I showed up with is "just what is the scale of the resistance?" After all, we're all used to the news calling Portland a "war zone" or whatever when it's just some protests in one part of town.
