This is a big one that I think many people don't fully appreciate. Given a room of 1,000 people, it can be hard for one person to find and help those who need the most help. Give everyone UBI and watch as more than half the room leaves, because they only needed a bit of money. Those left need more.

The main methods I'm aware of are physical exam & oral history; blood test for rheumatoid factor; and imaging of affected joints. I did graduate from juvenile arthritis to regular adult rheumatoid arthritis, so that's been basically my whole life. Happy to share any info that might help.

"hip unstable" was the primary thing that led to my diagnosis of juvenile rheumatoid arthritis back when I was a kid---the instability led to falling down a couple of times, & after it happened in a theater walking up stairs in front of people after a show, my Mom got me to a doctor.
