Super Sunday. Good day for Football. Bad day for Chickens. Indeed, every day is a bad day for Chickens. While you gnosh on wings today I offer this annual reminder that in the US, we lay, hatch, grow, slaughter, bring to market, buy, cook, and eat, one million chickens per hour.

Etymology break. - "Clumsy" is first recorded (only) at end of the 1500s - Originally, "acting as if numbed" - From now-obsolete Middle English verb, "clumse," "to be made numb with cold" - Ulterior roots may be Scandivanian (cf. Old Norse "klumsa," "to make speechless") Bring back "clumse"!
