CONTINUED, The Boy From Venus #13. 🦦 Gonna need 2 for this one, so [1/2]

Panel 1: Val and Audrey are standing together in front of the pool. Audrey points forward as they exchange a look and says "You don't have to go in if you don't want to. But I'm goin' in!"

Panel 2: Audrey begins to pull up his shirt over his head, illuminated by a streetlight behind him.

Panel 3: Val quickly covers her eyes, sweating a bit, surprised by him suddenly doing that.

Panel 4: We see only the thin slivers of light leaking between Val's fingers from Val's point of view. A speech bubble appears by one of the slivers, the tail indicating it to be from Audrey. "Val?" says Audrey.

Hey, so, update on this. I did some thinking, then some research, and decided to attend a remote Meeting of Friends. I, uh. Kinda liked it? It wasn't overstimulating at all, like the churches my mom took me to were. People were really patient with me, they didn't mind explaining the traditions.

At age 28, I just now cut my own hair for the first time in my life. It's not perfect, but for the first time in ~1 decade, I actually like how I look. When I was a kid, my mom told me to NEVER cut my own hair. So I never learned, even into my teens and early adult years. ...I feel free, now.

I think it's less likely that nobody pointed out that gay folk aren't *scared* of other genders, and more likely that this person simply blocked anyone who pointed it out. While this is sorta funny as a concept, the proposed fear/attraction binary prevents this joke from landing properly.
