It's Monday. My 5 y/o was home sick. I played board games with him while I did the email job, I snuck in some weight lifting and 2 miles of walking. I'm closing in on a thousand words written and I'm watching Prince of Darkness. I read half of Berserk Deluxe Vol. 9. This is life.

Too much work to do 100 words per hour today. I guess 2:45 is as good a time as any to start writing, and by writing I mean drafting a chapter I'll probably end up cutting by 80%, but that I need to write to figure some stuff out.

I have to believe that no matter how much "world building/lore" a fantasy authors writes before they start drafting, there's no way all the questions are answered, or that the answers won't change during the writing, and perhaps that's how it should be!
