I'm categorized as an AI subscriber, because I'm subscribed to the 3 TB tier of Google Drive and and they literally just changed the name of the plan to "Google AI Plus." Those "AI subscriber" numbers are 100 percent juiced and phony, and you're a sucker if you believe otherwise.

I haven't had anything to add re: Cornell, because I don't think anyone wants to use this space to reckon with the fact that none of these systems are meant to help you, unless you are a university seeking to minimize your legal exposure. It's not fair to ask strangers to reckon with that here.

Someone was talking about PAC being stoic at meet & greets on Twitter, so it reminded me of this anecdote.
Small child in red flannel and blue jeans standing next to PAC with long hair, wearing black AEW hoodie and shorts. Both are wearing facemasks.Nolie met PAC at a Dynamite, when AEW was still doing preshow meet and greets.

They both looked each other up and down. Then PAC stoically says “How is your day, little child?”.

When it was picture time, he plainly said “Stand with me in battle” to Nolie.

It was perfect.

The thing I'll remember most about Ben is how kind and fun he was with my kids when I'd bring them around. Ben was a generational talent inside the ring and a great dude outside of it. May you rest in and may your family find peace. ❤️

It’s just a matter of time now, and mostly a matter of when the money runs out. There is no future for Anthropic or OpenAI at their current scale. Hyperscalers need $308bn of annual ai revenue - around the revenue of Microsoft - for 10% return on 2026 and 2027 capex. Could be more with cost of debt.

This makes me hopeful. This number is aspirational but nowhere near out of reach: a working professional could realistically cash out their 401k and buy off a public official. Owning a senator is more attainable for most Americans than home ownership.

The fact that both Democrats and Republicans are racing to the 10 side of a 90-10 issue really tells you a lot about the state of our democracy (it's a corporatocracy), and how both parties view democracy in general (as a nuisance).

To make a great 9/11 movie, you have to grapple with the fact that Bin Laden won — America has greatly weakened in the past 25 years. This would never be allowed on screen.

Politely, If You're Looking At Demography Data While Making Your Movie, I Don't Think You're A Creative Worth My Time.
Recent studies have found that Gen Z and Gen Alpha don’t want to see sex on screen. Was that a concern while making this movie?

The answer is 100% yes. I went through this on two movies. I have long pages of empirical data about it. The only thing is I don’t think it’s just Gen Z and Gen Alpha. I believe it’s been a societal shift from taking nudity in adult situations and putting them on your phones at home for everybody. Now it’s more of a private, intimate thing that people don’t want to see when they’re in a shared experience. Whenever people now see nudity or very adult situations in a big theater, they get uncomfortable.
