Weil heute früh der Herr von der Tankstellen-Lobby im Radio war, musste ich mehrmals an das Thema denken... Spritpreise in D haben sich recht moderat entwickelt, glaube ich!? (Caveat: Spaßeshalber mit "Le Chat" gebastelt.) Der aktueller Peak (€ 2,10?) ähnelt -relativ gesehen- dem Preis von 2011.

Tabellarische Darstellung des durchschnittlichen Nettolohns in Deutschland und des durschnittlichen Preises für 1 Liter Super, 2006 bis 2025. Rechnerisch muss man ca. 6-8 Minuten pro Liter arbeiten und hier gibt es keinen Aufwärtstrend, sondern der Peak war 2010-2013.

I just spent 1.5 days using Claude (free version) to work out how to move stuff from one machine to another. A great tool for semi-competent people to expand their horizons. But it told me to delete the wrong things multiple times! (I didn't.)

I think this post nails the actual problem, for researchers at least—AI hallucinations would simply not be a problem in academic work if we’d not normalized citation-as-signaling rather than actual engagement—you can only cite a fake paper if you’re not in the habit of reading the papers you cite
