Jayvik fancomic. Title: separation anxiety. Panel 1: after an emergency procedure, viktor is pushed on a wheelchair by a vintage nurse. They reach a waiting room. Panel 2: jayce rises suddenly from his seat, stiff as a board. He’s holding something, and viktor gasps. I- jayce, is that for me? Panel 3: a tomato-red jayce is revealed to be holding a large bouquet of pink flowers. I didn’t know what to get you, and the doc said… no sweets until tuesday! So i got you the inoffensive option. To his side, viktor snorts a huge incredulous laugh. He’s delighted. Jayce bristles further and says, you can’t be upset! Next panel, he bows his head shyly. I… I am really, really glad you’re alright, viktor. He offers the flowers to his partner, continuing. To your health, I hope you’re my partner for many more years. Viktor smiles as he reaches over. He touches jayce’s wrist with both hands on his way to pick up the flowers and allows himself to linger. Jayce looks on the verge of tears. The colors of the art simplify, touchy feely pastel pink. Viktor says thank you, jayce. This is, ah, a very considerate gesture. Like you. I’m not planning to go anywhere else, anytime soon, alright? Jayce breaks and begins sniffing. He hides his flooding eyes behind his palm. Viktor slips a thumb beneath his gem bracelet and tugs, keeping them together.

Viktor from the JayVik fan fiction "Black Iris" by TheTrickOwl. It's Viktor wearing a choker that is formed like butterfly wings hugging his neck, the bigger wings stretching out onto his collarbone. It looks like the blue version of a monarch butterfly. It's held together by a silver ring in the front that has a purple crystal attached to it. Viktor has his typical tattos from the fic: the butterfly on his throat, the map pf stars on his chest, the plants from the show on one arm and the Arcane herald skin on his other arm. He's also wearing his golden lip and eyebrow piercing, a necklace and several earrings. He's hair is long and up in a ponytail. His eyes and smile are gentle. In the background you can see a tiny chibi Jayce asking to use the matching leach for Viktor's choker. Maximum puppy eyes.

Rereading 'The line is covered in Jellyfish' by @staroverlord.bsky.social while waiting for the next chapter, and I always think about how the first scene could have gone for Viktor. I imagine with a sort of detached, sad acceptance of the fact that he is alone... until he isn't.🖤 #Jayvik

From darkness, a gasp.
Viktor lays on the snow, breathing heavily, having just come back into existance in the middle of a blizzard.
As he sits up, blood drips from his forehead onto the snow.
He touches the wound and examines it with a tired, detached expression.

Viktor grabs his cane and gets up with difficulty. There are a myriad of thoughts that don't fully connect in the state he is in. He is cold. He is regretful. He has to find Jayc-
As he looks up to take in the surroundings, he sees nothing but snow and mountains as the blizzard rages on.
He is alone.
After a moment of despair, the acceptance.
''Ah... Of course''

Viktor kneels, defeated, thoughts still not fully connecting, or maybe being kept at an arms distance. (It is what you deserve it is what you deserve it is wh)
He is hunched from the cold. He closes his eyes in acceptance.

He hears Jayce call his name.

Viktor snaps up, surprised. Jayce is also here.

Viktor sees Jayce's silhouette in the distance, he hastily gets up, reaches for him and finally calls back.
