Panel 2: jayce rises suddenly from his seat, stiff as a board. He’s holding something, and viktor gasps. I- jayce, is that for me? Panel 3: a tomato-red jayce is revealed to be holding a large bouquet of pink flowers. I didn’t know what to get you, and the doc said… no sweets until tuesday! So i got you the inoffensive option. Jayce: Hm... That is odd, yeah.

Jayce: Have you - hold on one second - have you thought about changing the metal? Maybe you're having a density issue.
Viktor: I mean, I could... I tried to account for that already, though. And then we might have an issue of uneven heating. Do we have anything with a similar melting point?

Last year I had the opportunity to contribute to Convergence @jayvikfanzine.bsky.social , which was divided in "arcs" and every artist and writer had the task to choose and represent their favourite ⚙️💫 OFC I went with the doomed yaoi divorce arc 👀 [ #jayvik ; #arcane ]

My contribution to "Convergence" a Jayvik Fanzine. The art offers an alternate ending to the moment where Jayce from a different dimension infiltrates the commune and supposedly kills Viktor. In my version he's conflicted about what he has to do. The characters stand in the middle of the sanctuary and are depicted as a renaissance painting: Jayce has dropped to his knees and is hugging Vik by the waist. Viktor is depicted like a holy figure and welcomes Jayce with open arms and a melancholic expression.

The interior shows changes from season 1, there are many new inventions and some traces of damage on the walls. Ximena enters from the left, calling "Jayce? Am I--" Here we see a small panel 3, quick flashback to S1 act 2 Jayce looking back. Panel 4 and 5 are a shot of Jayce's hand on a blueprint sketch, then Ximena approaching him. "Oh, you're already working? You should be resting." Jayce replies, "I will, ma. Once this new brace design is done." Panel 6 to 8, Ximena says with a concerned expression, "I've made your bed. Panel 2 shows Singed outside the cocoon next to tubes connected to Warwick. He says, "So, it's finally time. The "final, glorious evolution" you spoke of." Panel 3 and 4 cuts to Viktor in the astral space. He says, looking at his hand, "Yes. Although, things have changed. I told you of a path, back then, guided by an invisible hand." Panel 5, Viktor is deep in thought with a small smile, touching his chin. "I have decided." Panel 6 is a quick flashback to Jayce's back in the council room, on the physical book it mirrors the previous page's Viktor flashback. Panel 7, Viktor continues, right hand now holding his left wrist. It will be by MY own hands. I will redefine what I am." The word my is emphasised. We cut to Jayce, somewhere else, also deep in thought with his hand on his chin.
