plug-in Solar Panels arrived yesterday morning. Put it all together in the afternoon. This morning generated just over 400W @ 10.30, more than enough to cover background electricity use of fridge, tv. Should be a bit more output when sun moves around to south @octopus.energy

@octopus.energy Just watched the plug in solar piece from link on app. Love the idea of it but think showing an indoor type socket as an illustration of where to plug in is very misleading. Electrician installed an outdoor socket (different look) for me a few days ago so I can plug in

@octopus.energy Hi. I like the idea of a couple of your latest offering of two plug in solar panels. However as I already have solar panels and batteries would these be compatible as an add on? Or would it be inadvisable as the systems would not work together?

@octopus.energy Hi. Had a message about energy saving session tonight. I don't use much⚡8-9pm but can set battery to export to help out. If reward is points is there still anywhere I can donate them? There was a charity a few weeks ago on 🐙 page but I don't see it now.

It’s April 10, and that can only mean one thing. YES, THAT’S RIGHT! It’s the 370th anniversary of Jón Jónsson and his son Jón Jónsson being burnt at the stake in Iceland for attacking a priest (called Jón, obviously) with witchcraft and for casting fart spells on a girl using fart runes 🧵
A fart rune: a weird mark on a bit of paper. It looks a bit like someone standing behind a table, or an alien spaceship, or a large T shape behind/in front of a horizontal line, and two diagonal downward strokes at either end, like table legs

@octopus.energy Hi. Had a heat pump installed last week and now the gas combi boiler has gone I just have a very old gas cooker with very low gas usage. I guess the standing charge each day is going to outweigh my annual cost. Is it possible to disconnect the supply and move to an electric cooker?

Normally Weird and Weirdly Normal is officially out tomorrow - so pleased to get these reactions from Chris Packham, Camilla Pang and Lucia Osborne Crowley Robinince.com
'Authentic, heartbreakingly wonderful and refreshingly grounded - this book captures the internal neurodivergent experience with rare grace and warmth!'
CAMILLA PANG
'This is a life-saving, brilliant book that will bring comfort and understanding to everyone who picks it up. Robin's fierce wit and intelligence combine to create a tender, timely and deeply necessary intervention in the conversation around neurodivergence. This is writing at its very best - I laughed, I cried, I felt profoundly moved, I felt less alone. I will tell everyone I know to read this book!'
