OMG I was sorting through some old bookmarks and clicked on the Smithsonian Zoo's Cheetah Cam link which I hadn't active in a long time. It turns out they have a cheetah who just had cubs on 10/5 and they are so cute. They're on the Den 1 stream right now.

Genuine question, what was the moment you realized? I got to know her on A Bit Fruity pod and she seemed like grounded guest there. I got suspicious when she defended Olivia Nuzzi on her own podcast but felt like the amount of criticism she received was pretty misogynistic.

Recently I've been thinking about how the core concept of this era of the internet might be the uncanny valley. The web is full of stuff that have the shape of the content we were used to, but that has no substance. There is nothing behind it.
