The German navy has been taking a relatively innovative, and for its regime rapid testing, approach to containerised weapon and sensor/UCS payloads for surface combatants. As far as strike goes this is a step by from RBS15s.

Too much remains open to say much. Bringing in more UVs is good. It depends if the Common Combat Vessels are more like FFs or Proteus. The problem with holding/scrapping a T45 successor is a gap that opens in terms of the RN having high end radar and AD/BMD at sea. www.bbc.com/news/article...

Regardless of the current situation it does not take much imagination to see closing the Strait as Iran's default response to any situation in the wider region that runs counter to its interests and security concerns. This and the Red Sea experience changes maritime order in the 21st century.

"Frigates!" is the answer to any question. Naturally. Not just a 🇩🇰 phenomena. The acquisition plans of all Baltic navies are very top heavy and while yes there are requirements for NATO blue water escort and sub-surface contributions, of all theatres the Baltic lends itself to think creatively.
