I'm ~30 hours into Control Resonant and only now am I doing the first (non-tutorial) main mission. Lol Crazy thing is that I still have side stuff I could be doing, but I think I've put off the main draw long enough. Time to see if this is more than just a nice open world to run around in.

I have never had a game, especially one with reportedly spotty performance, do this to me. But thankfully, it actually seems like my laptop can handle it? The cutscenes can be a bit laggy here and there (understandably so), but I made it through the first mission without issue.

Thirty hours into Control Resonant, I've finally explored every little bit of the world available to me and am forced to continue the main story. I'm 100% overpowered now, but exploring was so fun, and I can't wait to see what else this game's got up its sleeve. (I'm sure there's still a ton left.)

20 y/o me would probably be very relieved. I was so stressed when I was in college. I was in a program I didn't like, the future was so uncertain, and it felt like the walls were closing in around me (they absolutely were). I was teetering on the edge of throwing in the towel and ending my life.
