When they were babies, I'd play while they slept. When I could put them in a chest-carrier, I'd play holding them. When they were little things running around I gave them a controller with the battery removed. When they were a little older I put the battery back in.

Hey folks, I had a big thread about AI and art that really popped off, and now I have some attention, so why don't I make a little thread of upcoming indie games I'm looking forward to that have neat artstyles? And a lot of these games will have demos to check out, so maybe give them a try?

I'm cynical enough to think that the "free" Remastered Edition upgrade isn't "generous" it's a marketing spend to get players ready for Witcher 4. Which is fine! I'm going to play it. I just wouldn't consider it "extraordinarily generous."

i get why AI is so depressing to me. because covid already shrunk my world to almost nothing, where almost all of my life revolves around socializing and watching videos on the internet (which is being ruined by AI) and creating creative works through coding (which is being ruined by AI), often using open source tools and libraries (which are being ruined by AI)

i already had so little and now even that is being rotted away before my eyes

This is a boring but necessary update, especially for #accessibility, when you have put together torn letter puzzles, you can read the text in your inventory, but maybe the text is too small or the font is too... illegible... so there's the option to pop out the image's text for reading. #gamedev
