Hey, internet - should I report this issue to my crew? I saw the leading edge of the slats in direct contact with the thrust reverser sleeve on my jet... You can see where they're rubbing...

So much room for improvement in transit software/display design in the US, made worse by the fact that they could just copy what’s already out there in other countries.

I truly don’t understand this “transplant” nonsense. The whole THING about NYC is that ppl come here from other places to mutate into New Yorkers! TO SEE IF THEY CAN BE KING OF THE HILL, TOP OF THE HEAP! Imho a rando who moved here a year ago is the MOST NY person. Welcome Ohio rando, have a bagel

Nothing like the camaraderie of sitting on a public bench waiting for the bus and heckling a driver honking at someone when they're sitting in the middle of two lanes 😌

I don't suppose anyone in Frankfurt has photos or can take clearer close-up photos of these screens on the platform at the Hauptbahnhof?

Oh wow, a 'see something, say something' campaign in Singapore that's focused on reporting actually dangerous antisocial behavior not just suspicious packages or people taking pictures of things like they do in North America

All I want the head sign of a bus to do is tell me the route and destination but of the 16 second program this @mta.info bus now has, only THREE SECONDS actually shows that. So glad it is wishing America a happy birthday, though 🙄

The most demoralizing part of all of this is understanding CDOT staff have to return to work Monday and deal with all the same pushback they always do as they try to make it safer to bike in Chicago. www.nbcchicago.com/news/local/t...

I have to admit, I'm shocked this passed the legislature after last year. It is the equivalent of requiring elevator operators. It's a policy that exists nowhere else in the world.

A bike planner died on his community’s streets, and I wish that this was a unifying moment for the transpo practitioner community to come together to demand networks of all-ages facilities for people on bikes. Not ITS or robocars or bulbouts. All-ages bike facilities. RIP Riley O’Neil.

I feel like a lot of people say 'tell me on the screen when we'll get to the next stop' on the bus, but...when the next stops are always about a minute away, this is just taking up space on the screen?...

The networked screens in DC Metro stations have the correct service pattern/short destination for this westbound Blue Line train to Pentagon City, but it seems the on-board PIS either didn't get a config for this trip pattern or the operator didn't set one

When we took office, NYC had a $12B deficit. Today it’s zero. And we didn’t close that gap on the backs of working people. We closed it while funding parks, libraries, safer streets, & public housing. Call it Pothole Politics or Democratic Socialism: We are government that delivers for the people.

To be clear: I support this b/c it has proven benefits for readability compared to all caps & allows for the use of less abbreviated forms of names, which is also better for system legibility I moved Rhode Island's transit headsigns to mixed case for this reason storymaps.arcgis.com/stories/405b...

Does anyone know more about the Docklands Light Railway (DLR) cars 57 named after Bernard George and 99 named after Sabine and Leonard Sebastian? Is there a full roster of the cars named after people and their stories? 🥺
