The biology was always there. Better computational methods made it possible to find. In collaboration with UCSF, Tesorai identified 7,998 protein-verified RNA editing sites—an 18× increase over previous reports. Congrats @dlswaney.bsky.social, @petercim.bsky.social, and colleagues!

Large-scale proteomics analysis shouldn't take weeks. Working with frankligy.bsky.social and Mark Yarmarkovich, Tesorai processed 2,500 immunopeptidomics files in under 5 hours—a workflow that previously required more than 4 weeks. Publication: www.biorxiv.org/content/10.1...

New work from @csneeze.bsky.social explored how common additives for thermal stability analyses affected protein-drug interaction hit calling. We were surprised to see that buffer and method selection for lysates could recapitulate findings from in cell thermal stability assays!

In DIA-NN 2.3.0, we have added Deamidation (NQ) as an option in the GUI. There are good reasons for it :) You can try InfinDIA with any number of modifications selected, and check the RT differences between modified vs respective stripped peptides, for each mod - a way to validate peptidoform FDR.
