Any prescribed medication should be backed by peer reviewed evidence based that is current and appropriate. Their is a fine line between recreational use and medicinal use, and the benefits should outweigh the risks after appropriate physical and mental health assessment #rcn26

A really interesting read by @himal.bsky.social the journey to assessment with long waits is not acceptable but for me neither is filling the gap with remote services who can’t deal with “the complex” humans are complex by nature and face to face assessments should be available for all #Autism #ADHD

We're now expecting NHS staff to work long days doing mentally demanding jobs without even access to DAYLIGHT, whilst btw, also removing their break rooms. I don't think most people outside the service understand just how inhuman some of the conditions are. We have 100k NHS vacancies for a reason.

I attended an important event today organised by @unisonsw.bsky.social @unison.org.uk about the injustices faced by migrant health & care workers on Tier 2 visas, often amounting to modern slavery. Adekunle and Waetsi spoke powerfully about their experiences. Government must put a stop to this.
