Disabled people are not “less than”. A person’s worth should never be determined by their health. The idea that some people are drains on society is a byproduct of capitalism and oligarchy. Those in power want you to blame marginalized people for your woes so you won’t rise up against them.

This is shameful discriminatory and misogynistic reporting. People aren’t choosing disability to be “cool”. Young women don’t have to “prove” to you that they’re sick. Disability rates are skyrocketing because we’ve left a disabling virus rip through the population for over 6 years.
