I was fortunate to survive as a trans kid in the 70's, thanks to an attentive Mom. We had no language or knowledge, only knew that I was miserable in the wake of puberty. Now, knowing there are remedies but you can't have them? I think that would be much worse, not sure I would have survived that.

My family were excluded from the organisations. My grandpa opposed the Nazis and was murdered. It's not often talked about, but until the 1980s if you had someone like that in the family you kept it secret. Because people who lived through the war considered you a traitor and treated you accordingly

Honestly a doctrine based on worshipping a god who was willingly tortured to death by an occupying empire, who's willing sacrifice as a metaphorical lamb of god is considered to purify humanity of evil, seems like a bad fit for Nazis in the long run. The metaphors don't really fit.
