It's easier to think that people are cutting off their family because of social contagion or viral therapy trends than it is to accept that families are very often places of pain and domination where escape is the only alternative to lifelong misery or death.

If the elevator to the new train platform is out of order, and there's a fence between union station and the platform, how does one get on to a train in Worcester if one cannot use stairs?

I already knew that Gov. Healey's proposal to roll back the gas tax was bad policy, but then I learned she wants to make up the difference with FAIR SHARE money (aka: the millionaires' tax), and NO. That's money for schools and for transportation, not to make up for terrible national foreign policy!

There were so many new and powerful speakers today representing our community's demand for civilian oversight. How many voices and communities does it take for this city council - the majority of whom are adverse to using their legislative power for good- to listen to community?

why aren't we using the fancy new citywide text alert system for election days? it seems like a new citywide text alert system would be helpful for reminding folks to vote? we didn't even have signs out on the sidewalk or road at my polling place :/

As a reminder, in Massachusetts, bicycles are required to follow the same rules as motor vehicles when used on public ways. Public safety is always a priority."

Worth noting that the city isn’t who released the agreement, despite a public records request from the newspaper on July 6. The city said they’d have to “search for and review” the agreement. I kinda doubt they’d have to search for it. #worcpoli
