Good to have a reminder every once in a while. It's easy to do, and the problem is likely to get worse. So make it a habit.

Some of you have forgotten that only three years ago you were perfectly capable of writing an essay, writing a eulogy, telling a bedtime story to a child, and it should worry you that powerful companies have convinced us we can’t do things we’ve been doing for 5,000 years.

I feel like Tim Curry’s role in Ferngully might be easy to overlook given how tremendous his entire goddamn career was but can we take a moment to acknowledge that is probably one of the most outrageously sexy performances he’s ever given on screen youtu.be/hr4knvNNgtU?...

29 pixel fonts that I made, totally free and CC0 because honestly you deserve some nice fonts today not-jam.itch.io/not-jam-font...

Text set in pale green over a dark blue-green background. The font used is Not Jam Atomic, a bold pixel font with plenty of grungey detail and sharp, angular corners. It reads:

"A pixel font
by Not Jam

THE QUICK BROWN FOX JUMPS OVER A LAZY DOG.
sphinx of black quartz, judge my vow.

.ttf format
CC0 licence"

Text set in pale green over a dark blue-green background. The font used is Not Jam Mono Clean 8, a monospace sans pixel font with short ascenders and no descenders. It reads:

"A pixel font

THE QUICK BROWN FOX JUMPS OVER A LAZY DOG.
sphinx of black quartz, judge my vow.

.ttf format

Text set in pale green over a dark blue-green background. The font used is Not Jam Mono Crooked 8, a monospace sans pixel font with a deliberately wonky look to it. It reads:

I don’t want to be too sensationalist about this but also I’m the least violent person in the world and I think if someone said this to my face I’d hit them

"A physical book is a delivery mechanism for information," it continues.
"Once that information has been extracted and encoded into an Al model, the delivery mechanism has served its purpose. What remains is paper, ink, and binding material. The book is not destroyed. Its value has migrated.
The paper returns to the material cycle; the knowledge enters the intellectual one."

👇 In reference to that SDCC Avatar Aang slide everyone is talking about. It was a page from an artbook, and the reference to Chat GPT was likely injected by the person who put the book together. Actual artists like Kat who worked on the film have no idea why it says that.

Three panel comic titled Unethical Fiction:
1. Made with AI
2. Printed on human skin
3. The author uses their profits to fund a hate group.

sissel ghost trick appearing in a puff of smoke

illustration of vash and wolfwood modeled after the ghost trick scene where sissel connects to lynne's dead body for the like fifth time that night; in this scene, vash's sprite looks incredulously at wolfwood's cheerful smiling sprite as the textbox from wolfwood says, "Ha ha! I died again!"

>spotted a paper on my windshield as i walked back to my car. >”motherfucker-“ >read it HELLO????? SOMEONE DREW MY CRINGEMOBILE AS A TFSONA???? THIS IS SO SWEET WHAT THE FUCK!!!!!!

An extremely ominous piece of white paper, folded in half and tucked beneath the front windshield wiper of the noble 2013 Toyota Prius V, The Car of Kings. It looks like a parking ticket, but upon close inspection, the front reads “Open Me!! (Drawing not a car ticket)”. The exclamation points are pulling double duty as big anime eyes for a profoundly kawaii smiley face.

My hand holding the unfolded piece of paper, revealing a darling pencil drawing of my car, the cherished cringemobile, as a transformer in robot mode!! They have a decepticon decal on their left shoulder and extremely cutieful door wings!!! They have a visor for optics and are making a nonplussed expression, likely due to the Philly heat (as my wife’s favorite musical once put it: it’s hot-as-hell! in Phil-a-del! Phia!). To the right of the drawing there is a decepticon insignia, under which the artist has signed their name: Averie (which is apparently going very fast because it seems to be giving off speed lines and a dust cloud). They dated it with today’s date, 7-8-26, and included their TikTok: rag_d0oll. At the bottom is what is presumably a self portrait of Averie saying “Nice car” with a smiley face, revealing that the artist looks like if Zero from Drakengard had a scene phase, and also could experience joyful whimsy.
