PAC died last week. He was a wrestler from Newcastle and one of very few faves of Ken’s since getting back into it a year ago. He was 40 years old and despite playing a bastard on TV, we will remember him For his spectacular athletic ability, his humbleness and Kindness.
On Wednesday night, AEW put on a tribute show. Wrestling can be very romantic and the sight of these wrestlers barely holding it together to put on a tribute show to honour their fallen comrade is a sight I'll hold onto for a long time.
The irony isn't lost on Ken that he got into two sports with high mortality rates as he’s always stressing about his own, but that's mostly a thing of the past.
Wrestlers have better healthcare, Formula 1 has better safety in cars and on track, but things can slip through and now it stings all the more when they do.
To a degree, even Ken’s own protession has high mortality, Perhaps we'll discuss that another time, but for now he wants to spare another thought for Ben Satterly, Known as PAC, who convinced Ken to believe in something he long thought he was done with.

I had to resort to crushing the pills and sprinkling it on ham slices that I then hand feed to Squee. I can give pills manually to the other cats but she is so difficult, spits them out and then sulks

So I only know ashfield around there which is pretty normal, mostly families. Not too many head the balls running around. There is actually a footpath all the way to the retail park by the M1 so you could cycle there for sure

Ah ok you can cycle it but there are no cycle lanes there and traffic builds up badly especially coming in from Mell towards the town around that big junction at the first river crossing, it'd honestly be up to you how comfortable you are doing it.

Hmmmmm depends on how much you like risk. Hilly with very few cycle lanes unfortunately, and some bad junctions. I suppose it depends on where you're gonna be staying/going. Walkable, depending again on where you're based

Definitely rough around the edges in that things aren't as maintained as well as they should be but that seems to be the case everywhere right now. Kind of annoying to get around without a car as a few of the big shops are in retail parks around it

It's grand, trains and busses to Dublin and Belfast fairly frequently. Nice pubs and restaurants, lots of gyms and clubs. Active art scene with festival, film festivals etc. a zine group was setting up too. Close to some nice places like clogherhead. Traffic is god awful, and rent is high though
