Remember when they kicked an entire girl’s softball team out of the championship game because a player posted a private Snapchat where she was flipping off the camera? It’s funny how they never worry about ruining girl’s futures.

The press coverage of the Academy of Natural Sciences has gone from "Oh how sad" to sounding like a hostage negotiation. Which maybe sounds bad, but elected leaders, the press, the people online, all saying "You don't have to do this, man" is better than mourning. share.inquirer.com/YTQg0s

The Academy's 150-year-old building faces roughly $150 million in deferred maintenance costs. While that may seem daunting, it is not insurmountable.

ICE is not law enforcement you can't be law enforcement when you operate outside the law ignoring every right people have in this country & playing judge, jury & executioner so if ICE is trying to abduct you as in take you without a warrant assume you'll never be seen again & defend yourself

ICE is now lying in wait outside convenience stores, or at busy intersections. Agents are arresting people at international airports. Local police and sheriffs, deputized by the federal government, are detaining immigrants during traffic stops. ICE is now detaining more immigrants than ever before.
A chart that shows a timeline of ICE immigration enforcement against different significant events (Los Angeles raids, Minneapolis and Chicago raids), with a line in late March 2026 that says "New enforcement strategy begins" before a peak of over 1,500 daily arrests in July 2026.
