Got mad? More like mild surprise that a 'progressive newspaper' apparently didn't care about their writer's unfair comments, bullying and ensuing pile-on that resulted from their own innocuous plug for a local WI. Simply because the WI National Federation had (reluctantly) complied with the law.

Ryan Bridge, national leader of Raise the Colours, has been charged with 14 public order offences after RTC’s flag-raising activities in Oxfordshire. The charges relate to reported incidents between 31 January and 31 March, which includes the day when Bridge and acolytes “flagged” Abingdon Road.

A Stagecoach bus driver has been taken to hospital following an incident on the A361 just north of Chipping Norton, at the turn from Little & Great Tew (and Soho Farmhouse), in which the bus left the carriageway. The road has since reopened to traffic. 📸 via Thames Valley Incident Alert

This cheeky chimney pot once let out smoke from a merchant’s house in the High Street of 14th-century Oxford. It was found when excavations were made for new buildings in the 19th century. Made of unglazed, fired clay, you can see where the facial features have been moulded by hand.
