I came out as queer when I was teenager. I came out as trans 10 years ago. Coming out can be difficult, but I truly believe living as your authentic self is worth it.

"Titus?" Apparently, he stopped running while I was overanalyzing. He looks up at me, hands still on his knees, bent over from exertion. My wolf thinks this is definitely a different kind of question. I mentally shove him away and try to smile normally.
"Hey, Will. Out for a run?"
"Yeah, uh. Kinda."
"What's the kinda part?"
"I got inspired by all of you and forgot I'm bad at running if it's not on a treadmill."
"I see." Don't laugh at him, don't laugh. My wolf is grinning from ear to ear. We're pathetic--correction, he's pathetic. Will is adorable, but not my mate.
"What about you?" He's not quite gasping, but it's close. "You don't look like you're...exercising."
"No, I'm..." What am I doing? I mean, what am I going to say I'm doing, since I can't tell him that the animal inside my head thought he was trying to entice us into a tumble in the woods. "I'm...cutting back the trees. While the kids are gone. Dead wood and all that." As if making my point, I reach up and snap off a two-inch thick branch over my head. Will's eyes go so wide, I think he'd bolt if he had any energy left.
