@arcanecrystal.bsky.social on the subject of One Good Paragraph that'll stick in a head forever: to me it's the last 30 seconds of the Act 1 cinematic from Diablo 2. Probably others, but that one in particular.

Last night I rewatched that Star Wars movie that managed to cast both Portman and Skarsgård, but I'd kinda forgotten that there's no jedi in it at all.

Just a reminder to check for your name in this list of books that OpenAI trained from. If your name is there, they probably owe you several thousand dollars. OpenAI cried that if everyone eligible author files, the company will go bankrupt, so I'm alerting every author I have ever spoken to.

Watching FFX, Tidus has a dream of talking to his mom, then wakes up and goes to meet Yuna. A friend pointed out that Yuna has the same haircut as Tidus's mom. Friend: everyone just marries their mother, we get it Hironobu... The *Final* Final Fantasy... dating your mother.

this came to me in a dream

"MECH DESIGN TRIANGLE"
on the top there is a tank, on the left "monster" and a xenomorph, on the right an angel.
inside the triangle, up top there is a tank legs armored core from gen 5, then below it a wanzer from front mission. below it, to the left, the inital ac from armored core 3. below it stinger's ac. blow it, to the left, the mind beta ac from ac6 using reverse joint legs. to the right, the nineball seraph. to its right, the strike gundam. below it, white glint. to the right of white glint, gundam schwarzette. below schwarzette, to the right, the wing gundam zero. on its left, the exusia from ac5. on its left, a bit up is Kshatriya and a bit down is ac6 CEL. to the left of Kshatriya there's the nachtreiher frame from ac6. below it, to the left, the filial from ac2.
outside of the triangle: between the angel and the tank, a jet plane; between the tank and the monster, a beetle; between the mosnter and the angel, a emoji pointing towards "you"/"the camera", below it, written "the nerd reading this"
