I got clocked as gay so hard at work today. I finally got to interact with someone in person after 2 years of the most strictly business Zoom meetings. My Zoom background is clear, my outfits hyper business casual. We don’t even usually talk to each other in the meetings.

This is good, but I also think it’s meaningful that what spurred this reflection was likely the very few Microsoft users that regularly use & pay for Copilot, compared to the operating/engineering costs. Our collective indifference and even hatred for Copilot won over his mind through his wallet.

I appreciate that Dolly Parton refused to participate in "dress respectability" and, by her own account, modeled her aesthetic after a town "tramp," who she thought was beautiful.
